Continuous Aortic Monitoring
The SphygmoCor CPM System extends the capabilities of the SphygmoCor CP system by providing continuous,
real-time derivation of the aortic pressure waveform. Key cardiovascular parameters are sampled every 5 seconds and trended. These parameters include:
- Central Systolic, Diastolic and Pulse Pressures
- Augmentation Index
- Ejection Duration
- Subendocardial Viability Ratio
The SphygmoCor CPM System also allows reports to be generated at regular intervals, or whenever required.The SphygmoCor CPM system utilises a continual radial artery pressure waveform input. This can be
from either a radial artery catheter and BP monitor or a non-invasive radial artery pressure waveform monitor (calibrated or non-calibrated).
